Deirdre Gillespie, Well, they are wrong; and I am a US citizen. A Sea is part of an Ocean. Thus the Mediterranean sea is part of the Atlantic ocean because it is connected to it. There are only 5 oceans, but many seas. (see the lengthy comment I just made)
