I have lived most of my life in New Jersey. It's nickname is "the garden state". That might have been true hundreds of (100, 200, and 300) years ago, because there used to be many vegetable gardens. There are very few now, because New Jersey is one of the most densely, if not the most densely populated states in the US. I think that New Jersey should change it's nickname or slogan, to something that is currently more accurate; like: "Welcome to New Jersey, where we know what is best for you."
