18/20. Do not agree with #1 at all for all the reasons specified by John Greiner. Also, the illustration with the question is not a Van Gogh although all the other question illustrations are related to the answer for that question. Other than that, it was a very good art history quiz.

18 of 20. The Belle Epoque question is subjective and quite arguably wrong. Van Gogh was not prominent during that time period, which (depending on the source) started between 1871-1880. Van Gogh died in 1890, and most of his paintings were done in the last two years of his life. He was not successful while he lived, and his works only had a few small shows (as in 10 paintings out of the 800+ he painted) before WW I, which is when the Belle Epoque ended. Some - some - other artists admired his work, others did not. It really wasn't until the 1930s that his reputation grew.

14/20 Not chopping off my ear, but not Go'ghing anywhere in art. For not paying much interest in art, I think this score is acceptable.
