Myth, History or Legend?

i realize this will upset some readers, but I take exception to the answer to Q#11, the 10 plagues, as being fact.

The plagues... history?! Not even the old Egyptians nor the Greeks or other antic cultures confirmed something like that to ever happen.

As a professor of the classics I totally disagree with you myth and legend concept.

What is the difference between myth and legend?

The terms should have been clearly defined at the beginning of the quiz. There are dubious distinctions made here. SMH

Myth - `a traditional story, especially one concerning the early history of a people'. Legend - `a story from the past that is believed by many people but cannot be proved to be true'. So not a lot of difference. And if something is accepted as being historically accurate, surely it can also be considered as being a fact? A bit of a disaster of a quiz.

The Ten Plagues of Egypt is not history nowhere in the history of Egypt is this recorded. It is therefore a Jewish myth or legend
