Susan Lake-Harris, not sure which part of Oz you grew up in but they have always been koalas here in Vic. As a former teacher we most certainly never referred to them as anything else. However if you’re referring to the old joke of “How much can a koala bear?” We all know it was meant to be funny.

Leapy Lee, I know, but for many many years they were called koala bears - even in Australia during my childhood, but almost never these days. Doesn't make it right, but there you go. For Quizzclub, it should simply state "koala" and not use the misnomer, especially as most people don't use "bear" anymore.

mikeyparry, but they are not horses. In the same family are mules and donkeys and I doubt anyone would consider them horses.

I'm pretty sure I clicked on red on yellow kills a fellow and got marked as missed. Then a larger photo of red on yellow pops up.

R Yancey, you’re correct of course, however the coral snake is venomous not poisonous. They along with copperheads, cottonmouths (also called water moccasins) and rattle snakes are all venomous and endemic to Texas. King snakes, the other snake depicted in the quizz, eats rats and mice and other snakes. They are highly resistant to rattlesnake venom and dine on them routinely.
