8 of 15, I found several answers could have been correct, and found that very frustrating.

9/15 I looked up the ones I missed (both words) and they were right on the definitions. The wrong words had just a little point of difference, but still different. Flatter means to praise INSINCERELY. I never knew that.

13/15 impeccable ! I don’t think so. And certainly not Shakespeare level. Just not concentrating, as usual!

Interesting quiz spoilt by some poor answer options.

There were at least four questions for which the answer seemed to be subjective opinion. The worst was the choice of chide over gripe and complain as a synonym for “to voice disapproval”. All three are correct. Take your pick.

Pertinent, salient and germane all mean the same thing! A pertinent point, a salient point and a point which is germane....gahhh!!!!

Not well structured as there were multiple correct answers to the given definitions. At least the allegedly correct answers were indicated on this quiz.

Karen S. Wolf, it would be so beneficial both to themselves and to the rest of the population if more people (in the US at least) adopted your general attitude. Every day is a new opportunity to learn something new.

14/15 impeccable! Missed one that had three answers very closely alike. Happy that the answers were there.

Most of the words were actually synonyms to each other, so a person could have chose any answers.

14/15. It was nice having the answers, however, as others have noted, some of the words have multiple valid answers.
