#3 is dead wrong! Pythagorean theorem involves the squaring if the sides.

Thank you for the answers! I think #7 could be quadratic formula or equation!

Actually, I'm a mathematical genius, so I take the statement "You should have studied more" as quite an insult. It seems as if the test maker was consuming psychedelic mushrooms when they were constructing the quiz because, as others have also commented, several answers were wrong.

There are several wrong answers here. The actual axes were not defined for the sine wave, and the triangle cannot be evaluated without some indication of relative side length. The wrong Pythagorean Theorem is covered below. The Quizmaster gets an "F".

George Bunker Warriner, Mathematics is universal and borders do not determine how equations are solved. The order of operations is global or scientists and mathematicians couldn't communicate. It is ALWAYS 1. Parentheses, 2. Exponents 3. Multiplication and division, done in the order they appear in the equation from left to right. It's possible that division precedes multiplication if it appears first in the equation. 4. Addition and subtraction, done in the order they appear in the equation from left to right. It is also possible that subtraction is done before addition if it appears first in the equation.

kbparker, Some of the answers given are incorrect. This was a quiz written by someone who has no understanding of mathematics.

Whoever posed these questions obviously DOESN'T remember these mathematical terms. The first question actually gives two correct answers whilst the Pythagoras question is wrong
