What Color Is Your Christmas Spirit?

My Christmas Spirit is Blue! I truly love Christmas and all the decorations.

Red is my favorite color, but Christmas depresses me.

I thought the Christmas Spirit was declining, however Susan Lake-Harris has reassured me this is not the case. I so enjoy everything about Christmas and Red is certainly my colour.

I love yellow. Just right for me.

I love Christmas because of how I celebrate with family. We don't do the commercial thing. With the immediate family, we buy a gift for each person, but there are rules - the gift must hold meaning in some way (i.e., not be a generic gift, but something that relates to the recipient's needs/interests, so no boxes of chocolates or underwear or gift cards), and we have a limited budget. We decorate the house outside to bring cheer to the neighbours. Some are elderly and can no longer do their own homes. Some are living alone and therefore no spare funds for decorations. Some have told me they wish they could decorate, so my son and I use spare light sets, and sometimes use sets that had been carefully packed up by the neighbour concerned - believing they could no longer climb the ladder but unwilling to part with their lights - and we then decorate the front of their home for them. I save my loyalty points from my local supermarket and use them to buy Christmas nibbles and drinks, and we host a Christmas Eve get together for our neighbours. And if they will be alone on Christmas day, we ask them to join us for dinner. This to me, is the real meaning of Christmas - giving, sharing, and caring.

Christmas has become so commercial it's not enjoyable any more. Sad...

Wrong!! I hate green. My Christmas colour is RED, RED, RED! IMO there is no other colour!!
