I HATE Winter, so you are wrong, very. I was conceived in Singapore and live in Darwin, perpetual Summer. I have lived in so called Temperate climates but get very miserable (SAD) in winter as my hypothalamus has adjusted to the tropics

Autumn is okay, but I always loved Central Otago NZ in Springtime when the baby animals were in the paddocks and the daffodils were blooming after a bleak winter. The Summer stretched ahead like a never- ending Summer holiday! and the countdown to Christmas started in September.
