Simple, you are given most of the answer, take the last digit of the answer, multiply it by the last digit of the divisor to get the last digit of the dividend, 144/12=.12. 2x2=4 the only possible answer.

10/10 All of them easy to do in your head. As Boyle below states, the final number only has a few possible products that arise from the multiplicands, the last number of which has to match.

Back in the 70's, when I got my degrees in Accounting and Finance, you were not allowed to use a calculator for tests, as all your work had to be shown on the exam.
