A unicorn can't be extinct if it isn't real. Nothing wrong with the question.

Richard D. Boyle, couldn't possibly have existed as the horn would be deep rooted into the brain.

DPickard, Because people are uneducated about them. They are marsupials, closely related to wombats.

William Laughlin, We’ll then, if they are not extinct, the implication is that they are still around. Perhaps that explains why the unicorn, as the National animal, is so popular in Scotland? 😇

19/21. The unicorn question can not be answered correctly because the question is wrong.

4. Storing batteries in the fridge will make them last longer - True, because all chemical reactions, including spontaneous discharge, happen more slowly at lower temperatures. Let them warm up before using them. 12. The average human has 28 teeth that breach; the other 4, known as "wisdom teeth" often stay below the gum line and never emerge (mine, for example). 16. Taking antibiotics is sometimes recommended even with a viral infection in order to stave off secondary bacterial infections like pneumonia, which often are the real killers. 17. Many humans, like those in Washington DC use only 1% of their brains, but it doesn't matter - because even 100% of their brain is still useless. Nancy Pelosi doesn't have a brain, but she uses all the space between her ears to create an echo chamber for the sheep who follow her. 21. If you are inside a smoky room, you should: tie up a politician and leave him/her there.

billjones, That's precisely why they cannot be extinct. To be extinct, they must have actually existed at one time, then died off. Fanciful animals cannot die off because they never truly existed.

bridin connelly, Exactly, which is why they cannot be extinct. They would have had to be alive at one time in order to die off to extinction.

DPickard, It's a misnomer. Koalas are not true bears.

Emm Yo, That's correct. Unicorns do not exist and never have. That's why they cannot be extinct. To be extinct means they lived at one time, but no longer. The answer is FALSE; unicorns are not extinct. They are fictional creations.

Richard D. Boyle, I disagree. Unicorns cannot be extinct because they never lived. That's why it is FALSE to say unicorns are extinct.

21/21. The unicorn question should be dropped. Neither option is correct.
