Number 4 is wrong. Aubergine (or eggplant) is botanically classified as a fruit, specifically a berry, because it develops from a single flower and contains seeds.

LevibatteryCSA (Dave), The fruits of the cashew, almond, and pistachio plants are not true nuts, but are rather classified as “drupes.” Drupes are fruit. Fruit develops from a fertilized ovary after a plant flowers, as do ALL FRUITS. VEGETABLES are parts of the plant itself and fertilization is unnecessary. They come from: ROOTS - carrots, radishes, beets. TUBERS - potatoes, taro, yams, ginger. STEMS - celery, green onions, rhubarb. LEAVES - lettuce, cabbage, spinach, kale, chard. FLOWERS - broccoli, cauliflower, capers, artichoke.
