The Fahrenheit scale is a more accurate and specific measurement of temperature, with 180 degrees between the boiling point of water and its freezing point. Celsius uses a more general range of 100 degrees. It is not better simply because the numbers are easy to remember. By the way, ALL countries which use the Celsius scale spell it correctly. There is only one "C" and the letter "S" appears twice! I doubt any nation uses the "celcius" scale, whatever that is.

7/9. Really 7/8! Unfair question only providing antiquated Fahrenheit scale! I think that only the USA use this old English scale! Even the UK use the much more sensible celcius scale!
