buhlemann, During WW1 “After a quick study of radiology, anatomy, and automotive mechanics, she procured X-ray equipment, vehicles, and auxiliary generators, and she developed mobile radiography units, which came to be popularly known as petites Curies ("Little Curies").[58] She became the director of the Red Cross Radiology Service and set up France's first military radiology centre, operational by late 1914.[58] Assisted at first by a military doctor and her 17-year-old daughter Irène, Curie directed the installation of 20 mobile radiological vehicles and another 200 radiological units at field hospitals in the first year of the war.[51][58] Later, she began training other women as aides.[62]. Marie Curie organized mobile radiology units et went on battlefields .

no, Marie Curie did no work in radiology, it was radioactivity ( a term she coined) - a very different discipline.

Christopher Skinner, Byron didn't die in Lake Como. It was Shelley.

May Wollstonecraft Shelley, who wrote the first Science Fiction Novel about a Doctor Frankenstein wrote it in my home town in England, Marlow, Buckinghamshire, on the River Thames. Her and her husband, the famous Poet Percy Bysshe Shelley, lived in West Street between 1815-1817 when they then went to Italy, with Mary's sister, Constance and Lord Byron another Poet famous for keeping a pet Bear in his digs whilst at Oxford University. They (the Gang of Four) were Mesmerists and opposed the Corn Tax in Ireland at the time. Sadly, Lord Byron drowned at Lake Como, in Italy. Great Quiz, I knew every answer. Sadly the two Prime Ministers were both assassinated, that is Miss Bhutto and Mrs. Gandhi, the latter not related to Mahatma Gandhi. And Yes, Serena Williams is a phenomenal athlete, as is her sister, Venus.
