Eve , so right. We forget they have a range of emotions. All life is important, no matter how insignificant it may seem. We lost our connection to them along the way and if we would get that back, we might take care of the planet for their sake as well.

Lynn Murphy, I've read different versions of it. It supposedly happened in 2005. It doesn't say how long she was alone with the 3 lions or if they talked to the men they caught. Hard to prove or disprove either way.

All of the pictures are beautiful and remind us, once again, that humans share the planet with some extraordinary beings who sometimes surpass us with their compassion, understanding and intelligence.

Loved them all, but I have a special soft spot in my heart for orangutans. As a long time volunteer at my local zoo, I have been privileged to have numerous interactions with this amazing species.
