Our favorite fish is Steelhead Trout which tastes so close to salmon that the ordinary person couldn't tell the difference. They used to come out of the Columbia River (Washington, state) but now a lot are grown on farms. We either barbeque it or I do it in the Air Fryer.

Don't like fish and there is no such thing as a fillet - it means the bones are removed, I get bones in fish fingers! If man was meant to eat fish then his teeth would be pointed like a shark's.😊

I've never been a fish lover and hate what I call fish "steaks". I'll eat hake and South African sole (which is much nicer than Dover sole) and kingklip if I have to but that's all and I can't remember when I last had fish but it's more than a year ago. Give me meat any day of the week.

I will never eat mackerel. As a young person I used to help my father with his hobby of sea angling. I discovered mackerel used to flock to feed around ‘bunnies’ (sewer outlets in the Solent). That is enough to put anyone off. I eat plenty of other fish but just not mackerel.
