Are we what we eat?

Food we eat has a great impact on our health and the way we look. To be in good shape scientists suggest that we should not mix slow and fast-digesting food.


Slow-digesting food gives us more balanced energy . However, in case we eat only this kind of food our digestive system works very hard and the stomach is overloaded. If we eat only fast-digesting food we'll notice that we have more snacks and larger portions. This food is a source of quick energy. Consider this to balance your diet.

I'm not sure what difference it makes?? We eat potatoes with our steak and it keeps us feeling full for several hours, which I think is a good thing.

At 6'2" and 210 lbs, I think my intake of candy and beer must digest quickly and turn into cellulose immediately.

Interesting information. I eat fruits alone and only between meals. I do love my steak with potatoes and veggies. Calories are calories and need to be reduced unless they are coming from water which has none. Water is the best medicine ever. I drink lemon tainted water 8 glasses/day at room temperature.

Most important is nutrients should be absorbed so it can be utilized by body. Meat and nuts are protein takes 3-4 hours to digest.
