Hawaii is a dream destination of many tourists. Many people visit Oahu island to enjoy its fantastic sand beaches. However, there are a lot of trails and small islands which offer unforgettable panoramic views and emotions.

You might have seen a lot of trails, mountains and beaches in your life. However, if you visit Oahu you see that there's a lot of things to discover. To get inspired you can read this article which tells about the places we will always dream to visit.

#1 Ho'omaluhia Botanical Garden in Kaneohe

It is a perfect place to discover secrets of nature. In this rainforest garden you can find rare plants from different tropical regions and enjoy the beauty of landscapes.

#2 Ka‘ena Point

Ka‘ena Point is the best place for snorkeling or fishing. In the mornings near Kaluakauila Stream you can see amazing dolphins.

There are also endangered Laysan Albatrosses and Hawaiian monk seals.

#3 Queen Kapiolani Regional Park, Honolulu

It is the oldest and the largest park on Oahu island. There are a lot of exotic birds, plants and trees. The park has also a great view on Diamond Head, a famous volcanic tuff cone.

#4 Stairway to heaven

It consists of 3,922 stairs. Actually climbing this stairway is illegal and very dangerous. However, there are unstoppable enthusiasts who get to the top to enjoy fantastic views and see a secret old radio station which was used during the World war I.

#5 Olomana Three Peaks

This trail is also long and dangerous. However, its fantastic panoramic views give inspiration and make you forget about all the difficulties.

#6 Chinaman's Hat

It is a small basalt island which is easy to access by kayak or boat. According to myths, the island was a part of a giant lizard's tail!

#7 The Crouching Lion trail

This trail got its name from a rock formation which resembles a lion. Here you can get perfect views of Kahana Bay.

I attended my daughter Tanya & Lincoln’s Feb 5, 2012 Maui wedding in Hawaii and loved every minute of it in Hawaii, where I spent Feb 1-7, 2012. My relatives and I also spent January 25-Feb 1, 2018 in Ko Olina, Oahu, Hawaii with Tanya, Lincoln and my grandkids Isla born in 2014 and Finn born in 2016 and met Lincoln’s relatives there. Already met his relatives in Maui in 2012. Tanya, Lincoln, Isla, and Finn live in Australia near Lincoln’s relatives. Hawaii is halfway between Australia and Canada. I live in Ontario, Canada with my partner Paul. Tanya and her family are flying here for a visit next month.

I visited Oahu, and enjoyed every minute of the vacation. Also visited 2 other islands as well. went Luau and dressed accordingly. Roasted pig and all the food. Yummy. beautiful place to visit. Very humid so would not like to live there always.

I attended my daughter Tanya & Lincoln's Feb 5th, 2012 Maui beach wedding. On Feb 2nd, 2012, my relatives & I saw the whales from a boat in Lahania, Maui. The following day, my sister Tilly, her daughter Joyce & I stayed on Lanai Island all afternoon until the evening and ferried back to Lahania, Maui. I spent Feb 1 to 7, 2012 in Maui with relatives. From Jan 25 to Feb 1, 2018, I stayed in Ko Olina, Oahu near Honolulu with relatives, and Tanya & Lincoln & their 2 small kids Isla & Finn. Lincoln's relatives from Sydney, Australia & Los Angeles were there as well. The water park was so fun! The buffet & hula dance were awesome! I really love Hawaii, which is so gorgeous and consists of brightly colourful flowers, palm trees, the ocean, lagoons, whales/dolphins, hula dances, resorts, hotels, Hawaiian food, dry heat and more. Hawaii is like a piece of heaven!! Paradise!!
