Brosmer was only 15 years old but quickly built an extensive photographic portfolio. As she explained, "When I was 15, I was made up to look like I was about 25".

By the way, Brosmer never did any nude or semi-nude modeling. She always thought it would cause problems for her family and future husband.

She finished her career as a commercial model and pin-up girl after marrying Joe Weider, a Canadian bodybuilder. Their marriage lasted for more than 50 years, until Joe's death in 2013.
