It's interesting to read about Bermeja Island after hearing about it from my grandpa and his compadre. According to their tale, they landed on it on their way to Cuba in the early 1900's They say.....that the island which belonged to Mexico increased the international ocean boundary was destroyed by the US in order to reduce the boundary and have access to more international oil rich Waters.....So goes the story.
