Honeysuckle was a wild spring flower in Georgia where I lived for 25 years. Back in Michigan I don’t see it, except in the occasional cultivated garden. The smell of it is wonderful.

I love Alyssum. I never saw it in the winter though. It grew between my patio stones in the early summer.

The hellebores in our garden are just beginning to flower and the snowdrops are all coming up. But the winter honeysuckle isn't doing well.

I've spent the best part of the day pruning my camellias, mainly pinks, one red. I have 13 and they all start flowering at different times. Lovely to come home to in winter.
