lmoores, where do you think those cute fluttering Butterflies come from. I think the transformation from crawling insects into something truly beautiful!!!

We used to get tent caterpillars every couple of years and they ate everything in sight, they were like an army marching across the land and you couldn't walk on a tree-lined sidewalk for fear of them dangling down into your hair. I still shiver when I think of them. We haven't had them for quite some time (knock on wood). They were truly creepy.

They are interesting. They can chew up your plants but most of them are beneficial despite a bit of munching.

I like the aqua blue of #5, and #6 is kind of cute like he's standing up to some unseen enemy. :)

THE U S big yellow and black ones sold in bait and tackle shops and a black tail that looked like a stinger amazing to watch them crawl look like 40 legs moving.

I like the one at the beginning of the article with the pink flower. I don't I think they're cute but I don't dislike them either.

I still don't find caterpillars cute! They look like creepy aliens. The worst is there creepy clingy legs. Yuk!

Sorry, I still don’t really find them cute... the only one I might even remotely call cute is the brown black middle striped “woolly bear” caterpillar.
