WOW just WOW!!! There is nothing more beautiful & powerful than nature. Now when it comes to shoveling about 2 foot of it or working in it, That's another story. You'll think I'm nuts but when the weather gets severely cold, I can't sleep at night for working about all the animals that have to be out in it. Unfortunately most people don't supply a place for their cats to shelter in bad weather. I find as many hidden spots as I can around my place & make shelters for the cats. I leave my garage door open just far enough for a cat to squeeze in & make beds all over so they don't fight. I put out fresh water & food multiple times a day. One morning I went out really early with fresh water & food, it had dipped below 0 that night. Not only did I have multiple cats but raccoons & skunks as well. Hahaha! Normally this mix of animals would never get along in a confined space for 2 minutes but in drastic times they seem to pull together & get along. Some people could learn a few things from animals & nature.

lmoores, My daughter Tanya and her family live in Cremorne Point in the suburb of Sydney, Australia. You are right it does not snow there. Tanya and Lincoln’s children Isla, 10 and Finn, 8 (my grandkids) loved making a snowman on my brother Nick & Colleen’s farm in Denfield, Ontario, Canada near here on January 22, 2023 during Tanya and her family’s visit. They are returning here for another visit in January 2025.

jillynotsilly, I'm in Brisbane, previously Darwin, and although I like seeing these photos I'm quite happy to never see snow in reality. I hate cold. (my daughter did live in Norway for 8 years couldn't visit too cold for me).
