I have books/magazine, etc in every room and that includes the bathroom. Just ordered 2 books today - so I do about 20 or more per year. Mostly non-fiction, history mostly, biographies yeah! and lots of Christian magazines, etc. Eyes at 86 are still sharp-just regular glasses-such fun

Knocked me down with the fact about e-readers. All my reading is done on one because I move around a lot and don't have storage for paper copy. I read at least one book per week and, depending on content two.

I read 50-75 books a year. Having read Circling the sun, my favorite character right now is Beryl Markum. My favorite book is A Soldier of the Great War by Mark Helprin .

I started reading before I went to school and in grade one my teacher told mom not to let me read ahead, lol. I loved stories and escaped from reality into the magical world of the written word.

I HAVE to read every day....newspapers, magazines, books. Love historical mysteries, humorous books, murder mysteries, whatever. Without the library available right now, I am going a little crazy. Don't have a TV and don't miss one.....books are the way to go,.
