I think I would like to have a venus fly trap. I've always heard alot about them and fascinated by them, however, I wouldn't want to see it consumed creatures.

Maybe domestic ones died because owners did not give them rain water! Did not know that was necessary!

I saw one in Brazil that swallowed a whole butterfly ! I was standing next to it and I almost collapsed!! Nature is amazing most times!!

I had one at one point. They are great for the fly population. Unfortunately, lady bugs would get in there and it couldn't digest the shells and it slowly died off. Maybe I was doing something wrong. It was very sad.
