Kathy Bates is my favorite!! Her role in "Misery" was one of the more frightening ones I've seen. She's great.

Morgan Freeman is amazing in any role! One of my all time favorite actors.❤ I was surprised to hear that "Driving Miss Daisy" put him on the map. I would have thought that his talent would have propelled him to the forefront long before then. Something that I have noticed about all the men & women who are considered to be great actors is their ability to act with their eyes. By that I mean...you can look at their eyes & literally tell what they are thinking. Mr. Freeman, Tom Hanks & Merrill Streep are like that, just to name a few. Has anyone else noticed that? P.S. My favorite Morgan Freeman movie is "Shawshank Redemption".

That concept of "made it" is somewhat superficial. They use it as famous, winning an award. But all these people had worked and built careers as an actor. Just because you are not a Hollywood A-list actor doesn't mean you haven't made it as an actor. Sam Jackson had 100 film credits to his name before he was in one that happened to be a hit. That is not, not making it. Kathy Bates had an illustrious stage career in NY. She worked all the time. Morgan Freeman had built a consistently working career. He didn't just pop up at 50 and get Driving Miss Daisy. I understand what they are trying to say, but I find it demeaning to hard-working actors to claim you have not made it as an actor because you're not an A-List actor. Good for all of them that they proved you can become one, if you are lucky, at any age.

Linda Spreng, I totally agree! She scared the living daylights out of me in that movie. I kept screaming at the tv "Please don't break anymore of his bones!" I was on the edge of my seat the entire movie.
