Interesting. I enjoy these educational facts. I love the process of learning. You never get to old to learn and at 58 I have a lot more to learn.

How did they work out that butterflies have memories from when they were larvae?

Interesting facts that I didn't know. The weight of clouds surprised me the most. The one that puzzled me is how they know that moths have memories from their caterpillar stage? I can't think of anyway they would know that, can you?

Margaret White, I want to know why they referred to moths while picturing butterflies. They are very definitely not the same insect.

the weight of clouds was fascinating - but how did they calculate it ? planes fly through clouds all the time you'd think they'd be some type of effect on their flight .. hmmm

Leticia Olsen, #1: They don't. The majority of their tongue is apparently in their skulls and wrapped around the inside to act as a kind of "Shock-Absorber." #4 The pic doesn't look like a Moth, but then...Brian I gets his info from Wikipedia without researching.

The sloth must have fallen out of the tree to be in the water. They don't like to leave the tree and they sleep for most of the day.

No. 5 I once saw (on TV) an octopus escape from a fishing boat through a gap which I had difficulty seeing, fortunately the camerman was able to film it dissappearing into the hole and then from the outside it escaping into the sea.
