What is it like for dogs to watch TV?

How do we know for sure that that is actually how they see it?

My dogs don't watch TV, they prefer reading instead. Ha!! Just kidding.

I hVe a Yorkie that sees dogs and other animals on TV an dc absolutely goes wild barking at them. Maybe her vision is keener than other dogs.

Our dog has pals who meet up at the park. He can see them coming from half a mile away? How does any human know what dogs see? She chases flies and spiders too. I think their sight is far superior to ours.

Marilyn Allsop, She probably recognizes their cars by sound. Our dog goes to the door and barks welcomingly way before I hear our daughter pull into the driveway. He does the same for me and my husband, but he gets much more excited for our daughter because he doesn't see her every day. Strangers get the watchdog bark. He's a fairly small dog, but his bark sounds like a bigger dog. Some solicitors leave without even ringing the door bell.

Bill Moss, our dog drives us nuts barking and lunging at the TV. It isn't just animals. It's also humans he doesn't like. Mostly it's people who are aggressive or violent. Sometimes he just dislikes someone for no apparent reason. He'll bark at the same person in a commerical every time it comes on. He will come in from another room when he hears the commerical come on and wait for the person to appear so he can bark.. For some of the programs my husband watches, I just take him in another room.
