Learn more about these incredible and tasty nuts and use them to the best advantage!
Pecans have an unusual taste but once you try them you will fall in love with these delicious nuts. They also contain a large amount of protein, fats and vitamins that have a beneficial effect on our health. You can add them to different types of food - salads, sandwiches, meat and fish dishes and even desserts.
Pecans also maintain blood sugar levels and will be useful to those who have obesity or diabetes. If you want to prevent an exacerbation of the disease, you need to eat a handful of pecans 2-3 times a week.
Pecans have always been my favorite nuts. I think part of the decline in Americans eating them is because we have been told by most nutritionists that they are too high in fat and we should eat almonds instead. I still have them in my morning oatmeal, put them in Brownies, cookies, cakes and salads. I also love a few pecans and a few raisins for a snack and I am not overweight.
