I attended at least four Academy Awards in Los Angeles and Hollywood in the 1960s as my father was an editor of Daily Variety. Those Academy Awards were wonderful...all people enjoyed being there - having a party after and no one spoke about was all about films and TV. Hollywood was much better back then.
