Love glass. Dad ran the glassworks in Natal, South Africa, and then Auckland, New Zealand.

At a local show in our town, I watched as Mr. Wolfgang Eberhart created a beautiful mermaid forming the glass into a free standing sculpture. This was in the mid eighties and I still enjoy it to this day and have it on display.

Fantastic. I wish I had had the time to go to Murano one of the islands in the Venice Lagoon famous for its glass-making when I was in Venice for a tax conference - watching glass-making would have been infinitely more interesting than listening to tax issues!!!
