Geography Story: If you want your vacation to be perfect you should avoid these problems

Everyone wants their vacation to be stress free. You might think that you've thought of everything: tickets, travel insurance and hotels. However there are problems beyond your control that can turn your vacation into a nightmare.

#1 Spain

Every year Spain sets a new record for foreign tourist arrivals. Majority of tourists come to Barcelona. The locals are angry with it because of constant noises and crowd of people in the streets. So if you want to walk on Las Ramblas take it into account.

#2 India

There are 24 areas in Goa where it is forbidden to take selfies. The reason is a large number of deaths and injuries among the tourists. If you want to rent a bike in India mind that transport here drives on the left and traffic is not regulated by traffic light signals. Be aware that many people riding cars and bikes on the roads of Goa are intoxicated.

#3 France

In France, Paris, in particular, you risk facing protests and strikes. It can spoil your travel impression. Some streets can be closed as well as attractions. You can also have some difficulties with transportation.

#4 UAE

Though this country is safe to visit ignorance of its strict laws can ruin your holiday. Drinking alcohol, kissing and hugging in public are prohibited. You also can't photograph people without their permission.

#5 Italy

Italy is famous for its magnificent landscapes. However, nature in this country can be dangerous. There is a number of active volcanos including Stromboli, Etna and Vesuvius. Though eruptions are spectacular they can be very dangerous and devastating.

#6 Czech Republic

Many tourists say one should be careful with money exchange in the Czech Republic. There is a lot of money exchange offices where commission fee can be very high. Besides, don't hesitate to ask the current exchange rate while it can differ from the one indicated on board.

#7 Egypt

The Red Sea attracts many tourists for diving. However, one should be very careful as coral reefs are very sharp and there is a large number of venomous marine animals. Make sure your scuba diving outfit is of good quality and your diving instructor is a professional.

Halley Girvitz, I fully agree as I live in London, Ontario, Canada. BC, Alberta, Yukon and NWT are the most beautiful provinces due to majestic mountains and spectacular sceneries. The Maritimes in the Eastern Canada are also lovely.

The beaches of Brioni, in Croatia, are divine. They are sandless, like marble pools, and the water is so clear you can see the bottom of the sea. One problem,. bathe with straw slippers on, because there are thousands of sea urchins and their stings are extremely painful.

No 5, don't forget Volcano the one which gave its name to all others. But personally I would love to go to a safe distance of an erruption (I'm trained as a geologist) when in Italy near Naples I walked up Vesuvius (and visited the Flagrean Fields) and when my 10nyear old daughter asked what I would do if Vesuvius errupted I said bluntly I would put her and her mother on the next plane out and stay behind with my camcorder and cameras! Would still do it though now a lot older.
