These are inconspicuous facts about Asia you need to know
Asia is known for several things including technology and entertainment. However, there are many facts about Asia that most people do not know. In this post, we're going to talk about them, so whenever you visit Asia, you would be aware of these facts.
#1 Valentine's day gone wrong

In some Asian countries, the celebration of love is completely different from what we're used to. The fourteenth of February in Asia is for women to give gifts to their sweethearts – and the men should reciprocate a month later.
#2 Caspian lake-sea

You might have asked the question, "What makes the Caspian sea special?" While people would say it is a landlocked sea, you need to know that it is actually a lake that has sea-like properties.
#3 China's deadly Mount Hua's hiking trail

Rising about 7,000 feet, it may not be considered a tall mountain but the slopes are very dangerous. Many tracks on Hua have been closed due to numerous incidents.
Anyway, thanks to its breathtaking views, the mountain still remains a very popular tourist destination. If you ever want to hike up this mountain, make sure you're well trained and you have the right materials.
#4 Wealth inequality

Asia has the highest number of billionaires in the world, but it also has a high number of poor people. Wealth inequality is very obvious in Asia as the rich can afford everything they want, and the poor don't have things that are considered basic by people from developed countries.
#5 Physiographically, Asia and Europe comprise one continent

There is no natural border between Asia and Europe on the map. They are formed from the same contiguous landmass and were historically divided due to cultural and economical differences. This one single continent is often referred to as Eurasia. It's extremely large, isn't it?
#6 Larger than the Moon

Asia is said to be the largest continent, not just in people but in surface area, but how large do you really think it is? It might interest you to know that the surface area of Asia is larger than that of the Moon, as it makes up 30% of the world's surface area.
#7 The Asian part of Russia

You might know Russia for its beautiful women or the fact that a lot of Russians do not smile. It is still common knowledge that it is the largest country in the world, spreading across Asia and Europe. Its Asian side is so large, it's one and a half times larger than Canada.
