Glad we don't have to haul a camera that size around today! Great inventions, very interesting thank you.
Love to come back in 100 years and see what we use today will be obsolete - also what it's replaced with!

May years ago a father of a friend had a camera which was matchbox sized, he had to cut film down to fit it. And I have an old black and white TV which has very smooth lines and incorporated stand somewhat like the one shown - only useful as an ornament now or in a museum.

A good pair of earplugs would do the job of the Isolator and would be much more practical and comfortable. Also appears it would be hard to see well with that thing on your head. Also I can think of a lot of worse jobs than #1.

The Navy used that camera as late as the 60’s to photograph and and grade surface gunnery exercises.

I just noticed that it's the emerald pocket watch we women like the most! 😊👍

We can all laugh now at some of these devices but they were precursors to some of the gadgets that we have & use today. I wouldn't mind having that Philco tv now. I think it looks cool & I love the swivel arm. I will admit that some of these were pretty bizarre like the 20 foot long gun or the giant camera. I wonder if 100 years from now someone might be looking at the things we use every day & laughing at them.
