The King of Rock ‘n’ Roll is still loved and adored by his fans from all over the globe. Fascinating videos of his performances validate the amazing talent Elvis had, and the one we want to share with you today is absolutely awesome.

Blue Christmas was one of Elvis' favorite songs. In fact, this video is very special, as Martina McBride, a well-known country singer, joins Elvis to perform the famous song with him. But Martina was only 2 years old in 1968 when Elvis' performance was filmed, and the duet was produced electronically in 2008. We think the result is beautiful and authentic. What is your opinion? How did this song make you feel?

Here are 7 fascinating facts about the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll and his prominent life:

#7 During a 1969 performance Elvis laughed so hard he couldn't finish the song!

He sang “Do you gaze at your bald head and wish you had hair?” instead of “Do you gaze at your doorstep and picture me there?”. Elvis often occasionally changed the lyrics of his songs, and that was just another impromptu, he thought. But what happened next will put a big smile on your face! Suddenly a man from the audience removed his wig and began swaying to the music. Elvis struggled to hold back his laughter through the rest of the song, and this is just priceless! I loved Elvis - he was such a great singer/entertainer and so very handsome. It’s too bad he was so exploited and controlled by the Colonel. He died way too young and in many ways had a very sad life.

I remember the afternoon our mom came to the back yard, to tell us that he had passed...she was crying so hard...he was a one-and-only...what a sad way to go. RIP, Elvis...

He wanted to sing in his church choir but they said he didn't have the voice for singing! Maybe not in those words, but they didn't want him in the choir.

While talking to a Lady on South Padre Island,TX,I noticed a photo on her wall and asked her about it. She told me that it was indeed Elvis in 1958 at the opening of her Father's feed store in Crawford,Tx. On another note,he had blonde hair, and died on the toilet, his 5'-9",160lb frame bloated to over 250lb. Tragic end.

In the early days Elvis was refused entrance into KTEN-TV in Ada Oklahoma. He wanted to sing on their live local country music show and they thought he looked to seedy. That was before he learned to clean up and look really good.

I went to an Elvis concert at the MS. State Fair Coliseum in 1975. I sat 3 seats back from center stage. I’ll never forget it. He was fantastic to watch and hear in person.
