My father taught me a few of these examples during my high school years. I have often recalled those pieces of advice that he gave me decades ago.

Quite interesting but....it is so difficult to understand the human mind. There are many factors that make a personality inscrutable at times. Very intelligent people can outsmart psychologists.

I like all of them especially disarming rude people with kindness. Some one said: "When they go low, we go high". I find that when I am in a good mood hardly anything bothers me, as such; it is me-myself, and I am, that I am constantly monitoring NOT others.

Great ideas. I use the stare just to annoy people. It's a great prank. Works great on animals too. Shows them you're the alpha. I do it to my little min pin just to annoy her.

Call it nitpicking, but "return something back" is doubletalk. How about just return something? Much less irritating to the reader.

Regarding the one about the annoying song in my head - I usually get rid of it by starting up another song that I like. As long as that one doesn't go around too many times and becomes annoying eventually too - lol.

Thank you so much for this very helpful info. Top class - I'm going to keep a record of all of these. No. 10 reminds me of what the Bible says: "A soft answer turns away anger". Well done on this valuable info.
