After eating beetroot, usually you find that your urine is red. Well, one day, shortly after finishing her toilet training, my daughter came out the bathroom visibly alarmed: "Mummy, mummy, I peed BLOOD!" My wife then explained that the red pee was because she had eaten beets. She calmed down, then looked up at her mother and asked: "Then why don't I pee GREEN when I eat spinach?"· You guessed it. She is a very talented scientist now, 30 years later.

My sister, when she was young, was given a word, and she had to look up a “simile” for that word, and then write a short story based on that simile. Her word was “spoiled.” She looked it up, and the simile she chose was “corrupt.” Her short story was called “The Corrupt Banana.”
