# 1 What would it be like if our planet stopped spinning?
We don’t notice that the Earth is spinning all the time. Imagine that in suddenly stops. People will experience 47 times the gravitational acceleration. Everything around you will be rotating as the Earth did before, including the oceans. The winds will be five times stronger and cataclysms will swallow us whole.
#2 What if everyone lives up to 100 years?
The lengthening of life spans would change our world. For example, average consumption would grow and the targeted products would be different while elderly people have different interests. The world would be safer because older people commit fewer crimes.
#3 What would happen if you stopped taking a shower?
First of all, you would have fewer friends and most likely lose your job because of the terrible smell. Your body and head would suffer from acne and abnormal bacteria growing. Furthermore, if you would take a shower your body would need some time to recover after such a long break.
#4 What would happen if people were able to move as fast as the speed of light?
In this case, the world would move very slowly for us and our vision would be different: we would see the world like through a dark hole. Color perception would be different too because the wavelength of the light you see wouldn’t be visible.
#5 What would have happened if the dinosaurs hadn’t died out?
To cut it short, let’s say “thank you” to the meteorite that killed them 65 million years ago. Seriously, if it hadn’t taken place, mammals wouldn’t have survived in the world of these reptiles.
#6 What if Google stopped its work for an hour?
Five years ago, there was a moment when Google was unavailable for 5 minutes. That caused a 40% drop in Internet traffic. So, a longer period of inaccessibility would cause more losses of profit. But the competing companies would benefit.
#7 What would be with your muscles and vocal cords if you didn’t speak for a year?
Nothing! As you eat, express emotions and brush the teeth the muscles are still working. Your vocal cords take part in several processes besides talking or singing – they work when you are breathing or coughing.

If everyone lived to be 100 the world's already desperate overpopulation problem would be exacerbated to the point that we would all have to be willing to fight and kill for the necessities of life. It would not be a pretty picture.

Interesting but A1 was a bit short sighted. Of course winds would be significantly higher and initially the ocean tides would continue the forward motion - but only for a period of time. What would happen then?
I assume part of the earth would be like the dark side of the moon. People might gravitate to the border areas so not be be completely in dark side or the midnight sun side. There is much speculation that could be done by my uneducated mind, so possible scenarios would occur that I may not even guess at. Never happen in our lifetimes but good to noodle the brain. Thanks for making me noodle now.

What you say about not taking showers, is not totally true. I went hiking in the high mountains for three weeks, the first few days I felt very dirty, but after a few days went by , my body started cleaning itself naturally, specially my hair, it was totally flowing and bright. I must say , this happened because I was in a natural environment high in the mountains, I am sure I'm the city it would be a different
