#1 In Bangladesh live more people than in Russia
Today Bangladesh has 21 million more people than Russia, though the territory of Russian Federation is 116 times larger. The reason is that there were no drops in the population of Bangladesh and the fertility rate there was always higher than the growth rate.
#2 Germany has the lowest children population in the world.
There are only 12% of people aged 0 to 14 years in this country whereas in Kenya 40% of all people are children.
#3 The most widespread names are Mary and James
Since 1917 up to 2016 there were almost 5 million boys named James and more than 3 million girls named Mary.
#4 People's Republic of China is "the golden republic"
Gold production in China was the largest in 2017. According to statistics, 440 tons of gold are mined annually during the last ten years.

It is difficult to give exact numbers, however, statistics shows that there are about 3 trillion trees and 100-400 billion stars. To calculate the stars scientists evaluate the mass of the galaxy and make a spectral analysis. To count the trees experts use data from the satellites and figures from the calculation by hand.

This increase took place between years 1000 and 2000.

#7 During your lifetime you can walk around the equator 4.5 times
Considering the fact that a person can take 7500 steps a day and the average life expectancy is 80 years, scientists calculated that it is possible to walk about 180,000 km in a lifetime.
#8 In the United States people watch TV more than 4 hours a day
Every day US people spend 270 minutes watching TV. The second place goes to Poland where average TV viewing time equals to 264 minutes per person.
#9 More children are born on Thursdays
According to statistics, most babies are choosing Thursday (17,5%) or Monday (14,2%) for the day of their birth. The least popular day is Saturday. Only 12,5 % of children are born on Saturdays.
#10 In Denmark practically all Moms go to work
More than 80% of Danish mothers work regularly. Almost as many mothers work in the Netherlands, Sweden, Austria, and Slovenia.
#11 McDonald's sells 4400 hamburgers every minute worldwide.
A famous fast food restaurant runs a website where you can track the number of products that has been sold and the number of clients has been served.
#12 Every day 1700 people in the United States are becoming millionaires.
Statistics says that today there are about 8 million households whose income is more than $1 million not including property.
