#1 It Can Damage Your Hearing
Using headphones and earbuds to tune out the world is a teenage staple. But blasting your favorite tunes at full volume has actually been shown to cause long term damage in hearing.
#2 Sad Music Can Negatively Impact Mental Health
Who doesn’t have a heartbreak playlist? It makes us feel that someone understands our pain and can sometimes provide much needed comfort. But dwelling too long in the land of sad songs can have the opposite effect making us more anxious and neurotic.
