Found one way it could be good. A skunk got under our house, and my song played rap music to it. After 20 minutes, it left the premises. Good thing, since I was ready to leave

I am 75 yrs old. I used to study with music on all the time. I actually became a Doctor of Medicine at age 21 in 1969. I can remember all the 60's tunes and songs to the end of the 60's. A complete blank afterwards. Music actually helped me study as I used to associate medical facts to particular songs.. Joseph.

I know sad songs really bring me down. So I have to limit myself or I get feeling really sorry for myself. And there’s really not that much to feel sorry about, I have a very good life.

#3 brought back memories of my Dad telling me he would never understand how I could do my homework (early 60's) with our local "rock" radio station on. It didn't ever keep me off the honor roll, so he never made me turn it off.

Interesting. I’ve also found that having the radio on when driving, means you are less likely to hear approaching emergency vehicles. Especially if you happen to be singing along. 😉

Back when Eastbound and Down was played all the time on my car radio, before I got one with a CD player in it, I would listen to that song and invariably speed. Thank God I never got stopped. Now I listen to Joe Cocker on his CDs most of the time I'm in the car. :)
