10/10 pretty easy peasy

10/10. Quite easy! Don’t know why I got 9/10 last time!

billyboy915, Problem is hardly any countries use BODMAS or PEDMAS but USA do which is why it is used in many questions.

For those who had difficulty with the math problem, here is the solution.
6 – 1 x 0 + 3 ÷ 3 = ?
Many like to use the acronyms BODMAS or PEDMAS. T⁷hey are exactly the same and when applied correctly, yield the exact same result. .
This equation has only 4 operations.
Subtraction, Multiplication, ,Addition, and Division.
Multiplication and division ALWAYS precede addition and subtraction when no Brackets/Parentheses and Orders/Exponents are involved.
Because Multiplication and Division carry equal weight in an equation, they are done in the order they appear in the equation from left to right.
The equation becomes,
6 – 1 x 0 + 3 ÷ 3 =
6 - 0 + 3 ÷ 3 =
6 - 0 + 1 = ?
Addition and Subtraction also carry equal weight and are done in the order they appear in the equation from left to right as well.
6 - 0 + 1 =
6 + 1 = 7
The answer is 7.

9/10…The math question threw me!🥰

7/10.Better than I thought that I'd do!

Johnny Rock,
You are mistaken. Multiplication and division carry equal weight and are done in the order they appear in the equation from left to right. One operation does not always precede the other. Their position in the equation determines when that operation is done. The same applies to addition and subtraction.

Good quiz and thanks for the answers. Failed at the maths one like everyone it seems

Eve ,
The answer is correct.
There is only one correct method used to solve equations. It must be universal or imagine the confusion among mathematicians and scientists around the world. Communication would be impossible.
Whatever you like to call it, BODMAS or PEMDAS, it is all the same.
• You solve inside the Brackets or Parentheses first.
• Then Orders/Exponents.
• Then Division/Multiplication. These operations are of equal importance and are done IN THE ORDER THEY APPEAR IN THE EQUATION FROM LEFT TO RIGHT! One or the other are not necessarily done before the other. It depends upon how the equation is written.
• Finally, we do Addition and Subtraction IN THE ORDER THEY APPEAR IN THE EQUATION FROM LEFT TO RIGHT.
Mathematicians around the world solve equations in exactly the same way. When you stray from this method, you get a different/WRONG answer.

Richard D. Boyle,
Thank you Richard! Math was my favorite subject in school. I could usually solve this kind of equation in my head. I was generally the star of my math classes with a straight A average from 6th grade on up.

9 / 10. I don’t think that the maths question is correct!it depends on the rules used! So I really think that I got 10/10!
