Tom Knox, they do! They are simply called the same thing as the ones that American kids take for college entrance. SAT stands for standardised assessment tests and they are taken in Year 2 and Year 6 of primary school.

I don't think the Brits have the SAT test, but I'm sure there is an equivalent.
