Finger riddle is very simple. One one hand you have 5 fingers. On two hands, 10, on five hands 25, and on 10 hands, of course 50. Like that answers were provided. 8/8 - liked that answers were given.

Isabel Weinberg,
It's basic math.
He recouped his full expense plus $1 with each sale. He made $2 profit altogether.
Do the math.
Say he had $10 to start.
He spent $7, leaving $3. Sold it for $8, giving him $11. He spent $9 leaving $2, then sold it for $10 giving him a total of $12.
The difference between what he started with and ended with is $2 profit.
