Emm Yo, Clam chowder is most certainly from the US. In fact, there are two vaieties: a creamy New England style and a tomato-based broth Manhattan style clam chowder.

6 / 10. Poorly researched quiz! For example, baklava comes from Greece as well as Turkey! Borscht can be from Russia as well as Ukraine!

Emm Yo, if you wouldn’t associate clam chowder with the USA then where would you associate it with? I’ve travelled extensively and I’ve only ever been offered it in the States.

Many Mediterranean countries claim baklava including Greece! It certainly isn't exclusive to Turkey! Also borscht is considered Russian as well!

I would not associate clam chowder with USA! Maybe a burger.

It is frustrating when there are more than one plausible answer for questions. Baklava originated in the Ottoman Empire which included most of what is now Greece and Turkey. Like many dishes from this region they are now claimed by both countries.
