I'm originally from the UK and only scored 14! The garage question got me, but the problem is garage is pronounced in 2 different ways in the UK. There is the "common" way that I used as a kid with the "ridge" sound at the end. The posher people pronounced it with the "raaj" sound so I plumped for that answer! The Queen would never pronounce it as ga-ridge! http://dictionary.cambridge.org/pronunciation/english/garage

I have been a Brit for 67 years and got 2 "wrong". The spelling of tires/tyres is optional and garage can be pronounced either way depending on where you come from. test obviously set by a yank.
