Sue Grayson, NOT only in America! • In Australia one can be fined up to $2,200 for splashing mud on a bus with your car in NSW. • One is not allowed to possess more than 50kg of potatoes in Western Australia. • It's illegal to make unreasonable noise with a vacuum cleaner at certain hours in Victoria. • In some states, it's illegal to correspond or do business with pirates. • In some states its also illegal to disturb a wedding ceremony without a valid reason. • You can be jailed for up to a year for cleaning up seabird or bat poo without a licence in Western Australia. • It is illegal to wear hot pink hot pants after midday on a Sunday. • If you get electrocuted to death then you will have to pay fines to the government. Apparently, according to the Australian laws, it is illegal to touch electric wires that can lead to your death. So, if you don’t want to pay a fine up to $200 then please keep a safe distance from electrical wires and don’t die because of them! • In Victoria, under the Vagrancy Act 1966, it’s against the law to pretend to tell people’s fortunes, or use witchcraft or ‘crafty science’ for that matter, to discover where stolen goods might be found.

I wonder why a one armed piano player has to perform for free. Sounds like discrimination.

These are just unbelievable! Of course they had to have happened to cause them to be enacted! And this is how our governments spend their time!

Back in the 60s, many of the protest movements used to refer to the police as pigs because of their intolerance for views they didn't agree with. We used the law on the books that said pigs were not allowed in the street or public institutions as a chant.
