6 / 8. However, I am surprised that Malta is the most densely populated country in Europe! I have been there twice and much of it is barren scrubland!

Q4 is doubly wrong. The European part of Russia has the 'biggest landmass'. European Russia covers the vast majority of Eastern Europe, and spans roughly 40% of Europe's total landmass. But Ukraine is also larger than France! Add this to the incorrect Q3. The Volga, entirely in European Russia is 3,530 km. While the Danube is only 2,850 km. Q8? Estonia joined the EU in 2011, Latvia in 2014, and Lithuania in 2015. So every choice is correct.

Poorly written questions. Are we refering to Europe, in which case Britain is still there. Also Switzerland is not the only country which is not in the EU, Ukrain for instance is not a member and neither is Russia. The author confuses Europe with the European Union.

How old is his test? There are only 27 countries in the EU in 2023 since Britain's Brexit. Also, the Volga is the longest river in Europe, not the Danube. All three countries - Estonia Latvia and Lithuania belong to the EU. So which is the option here? NOT a good quiz! 😊

I'm down to five questions all being the first answer and hoping this isn't one of those quizzes because I like the quiz but not if all the answers are the top choice. Apparently, this is just random so far, as no posts are indicating that that is what is taking place.

7/8 I made a silly mistake. However, everybody disagree with the longest river.

The longest river in Europe is the Volga, and Russia is the largest country by far, not France.

All three options on the last question are correct. Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia were all Soviet Republics. I've lived in Riga (Latvia) and Klaipeda (Lithuania) when they were part of the USSR.

theotishaynes, You're right but Volga was not one of the options. It's more a test on European Union and NOT Europe. Russia is not part of the EU.
