10 / 10. Quite straightforward really. We call this sort of exercise in England mental arithmetic!

Mac McLean, 10% of 120 is 12. 120-12 = 108. You are removing 10% from the original price, not adding 10% to the sale price.

Alvin Harmacy, The math is the same regardless of the currency. Both decimal based.

R Yancey, no R Yancey, they don’t have poor maths skills , I passed A level GCE at school, but that was 65 years ago, my ability to do mental arithmetic is not so good now.

I got 10/10 correct. Was this supposed to be difficult? Nothing really hard here just basic math. Hard to believe that anyone would have much trouble with this quiz. But then again so many people have very poor math skills these days.

I 100% agree with Myrna Olson. You are taking 10% off the original price (£120) not adding 10% on to the sale price!

The answer to question 10 is correct. If the coat was $120.00 originally then 10% would be $12.00. So, $120.00-$12.00=$108.00!! The reduction was NOT on the sale price!!

bvanstreek, the correct answer is 120. 120 x 10% = 12. 120 - 12 = 108. So the original cost was 120. 108 is the price after the discount.
