In American English #16 - the noun is acknowledgment without an "e" after the "g" - just like judgment. 🙄

17/20 does Not make me a spelling genius. If I was I wouldn't have gotten 3 wrong including Bellwether!!!

Elaine Bauer, neighbor is correct only in the US. In the rest of the English-speaking world it is spelled neighbour.

I don’t think I ever saw “bellwether “ written before.

18/20 If I hadn't gotten trigger happy, it would have been 19/20. The only one that I didn't know how to spell correctly is "Bellwether". I've heard it used before but to be honest, I don't even know what it means. Is it a political term? I'll be googling that when I get off here.

The English language is confusing as it is, and to add to that, there are different ways of spelling the same words between English speaking countries. That said, I'm American so I chose Neighbor. Not fair. I know.

18/20. Quiz was a little harder than expected. In re “neighbours”, both should be considered right. We don’t call driving on the left side of the road to be wrong... it’s simply a different alternative. The difference in UK v. US spelling should be dealt with the same way.

15/20. With question 11. The Answer given is the American spelling of neighbours, Not the the more widely accepted - Australian/ English spelling: Neighbours! The spelling needs to be qualified.
